See the final Frequently Asked Question below as it will provide further insight into the spring/summer program structure.
How are teams formed following tryouts?
Our spring/summer emphasis is on providing players an engaging and motivating environment where their skills can grow and their competitive levels will be pushed.
We will form teams based on the interest and competitive levels of the players at tryouts in each grade.
From there we will send out our tentative tournament dates to see the availability for players prior to finalizing the spring/summer schedule.
What if my child can only play in 1-2 tournaments this season due to conflicts? How do the fees work if I am a partial participant?
The 212° program offers a unique approach to the spring/summer season to allow for players to grow their skills while continuing to pursue their love for other sports and summer activities.
Once tryouts have been completed, we will send out invitations to be a part of the grade level roster.
All players in the 212° spring/summer program will pay a "base" package which will be their "practice package" fees.
Then we will share the tentative tournament schedule, and families will sign their child up for the tournaments they are available to participate in this spring/summer.
Each tournament attended will have a fee associated with it, so families will then receive their "tournament package" fees based on the amount of tournaments they can attend this season.
If there are 8-9 players that can play in all of our tentative events, then we will look to form a consistent roster for the season of those 8-9 players.
The remaining players will practice and attend events when there is enough interest for two teams, or a player is unable to attend from the permanent roster.
If we have over 14 players interested in an event on a weekend, we will form two teams for that weekend.
